What I Wore-Free Pile Dress

So friends, a little while back I won this at Meredith’s blog yours, mine, & ours.

Well, actually I didn’t quite win that exactly.

I won this:

One of Meredith’s frees pile finds, a skirt labeled 3X. I pretty consistently wear a small or medium so this skirt is about 5 times my size; it dropped right to the floor when not held up.

But Meredith did me a solid with picking out a free pile item with a pattern I can totally love, so I did not give up hope! Plus the whole point of her giveaway was to encourage reworking so that is exactly what I did!

So simple, no? I bought my hook and eye set at my local dollar store. This rework took me a total of 10 minutes to complete.

(denim jacket-diesel thrifted; bag-lf seasonal sale; dress-free pile á la yours, mine & ours; shoes-urban outfitters; bracelets and watch all gifts)

(sunglasses-bestey johnson via century 21; lipstick-revlon orange flip; necklace-street fair)

This friends is Meredith from yours, mine & ours.

Meredith is on a shopping ban for a year!!! And doing a fantastic job as you can see from this outfit. I love her diy’d belt (post here)! You also need to check out her Swap or Shop situation-any amount of items $10 OR you can swap something with this lovely lady for FREE!

You’ll be getting to know her a bit more as she will be guest postin’ right here tomorrow!

Thanks again Mer for the awesome prizes! Friends, be sure to stop by tomorrow and check the really simple rework Meredith has in store for you.
