My Favorite Day at the Beach-FTF Blog Event

For this month’s Full Time Fabulous Event, Kristy Eléna asked us to draw inspiration from the beach. I looooove the beach. The feel of sand under my feet the smell of salt water, the sound of the waves and the relaxed, slow paced attitude in the air makes me feel like I’m in another life.

So I decided to share with you my favorite beach trip EVER for my beach inspiration task, which happened on my trip to Negril, Jamaica about 5 years ago.

I have this random habit of meeting strangers. I think I must look really friendly and open because strangers approach me often and while traveling I tend to meet a lot of new, interesting and fun people. But none have been as fun and as special as this little boy I met on the beaches of Jamaica.

My friend and I were just laying on the beach and this teeny boy from the massive party next to us came up to me as I was laying down. He was just gorgeous so I took out my camera and the boy was in awe. My old Nikon Coolpix 5400 had a flipover screen so you can see the view screen both ways and this entertained him endlessly.

I think to date he still has the most amazing eyelashes and smile I’ve ever seen.

He was such a ham :).

The boy was actually part of a huge family reunion and when his parents finally came to collect him they invited us to join them. We had such a wonderful time at the beach due to this little boy and I will never ever forget it.

Oh sigh, I loved Jamaica.

How adorable, I love the photo of the precious little boy with the sunglasses… totally jealous of those eyelashes too! lol.
What a lovely seaside capture of you, so beautiful. It’s interesting meeting strangers isn’t it, I love it sometimes having long conversations with new people. Hope you’re enjoying your week.

OMG, that little boy is too cute!! That sounds like an amazing trip! My favorite beach memory was in Nice, France 5 years ago. I was studying abroad in Paris, and me and my new friends took a weekend trip to the south of France. The beach was covered in smooth rocks, which felt like a hot rock massage when we laid out on them. I could go on and on lol.

OMG I have to piggyback on what Rocquelle said! The rock beaches in Nice “rocked” my socks! There were amazing indeed. I have to admit I was silly and annoyed by them at first, but I ended up laying out for hours.

OK, women everywhere would KILL for those eyelashes. Amazing.

He is so adorable, and you are right, such a ham! I love his grin – innocent yet up to something all at the same time. Thanks for sharing your photoshoot with us

The first photo of you with the sea as a backdrop is stunning. I don’t think I would ever want to leave a place like that.

What a cutie! And seriously…why is it that boys are always blessed with the long lashes?

You do have an approachable look about you! You’ve got a friendly face, so that doesn’t surprise me.
