It has been rainy here in NY and I’m so not ready for boots yet. I feel like Melissa Shoes would be the perfect solution so I’ve been literally trying to get to the Soho store for about a month now! But sadly I’ve been working late and having busy evenings so I haven’t been able to make my way down there :(. I want to try on some pretty plastic Melissa Shoes!!
Now friends, there are a plethora of Melissa Shoes available online, for example all the above are available on Amazon (and waaaay more), just type Melissa Shoes in the search field.
But honestly I love the look of the Soho store and I wanna go!!! Melissa’s store downtown is called Galeria Melissa because the shoes are set up like art! How purdy!
I think Melissa Shoes may be the perfect solution for fashionable rainy days this fall. I like that the plastic looks like patent leather at times and the designs are so modern. Great alternative to chunky rain/snow boots for the damp fall we’ve been having.
I did try on a pair of Melissa Shoes at Macy’s and the plastic is not like the jelly shoes of your youth! Hand on heart-it is super soft and supple and waaaaaayyy comfortable–only reason I didn’t buy Melissa Shoes then is because the color I wanted was out.
Gosh dang it! I will make my way downtown to Galeria Melissa for my pretty plastic shoes! Will update you when my mission is completed!
P.S. You can read about some Melissa Shoes on made-to-travel here.
Plastic rain sandals! I love it! I want the orange platform pair and I want to go with you shopping too. Have fun!
