Monday-KNICKS GAME DAY!!!!

Whoooo hoooo!!! Monday the bf and I went to our first Knicks game with Carmelo Anthony against the Jazz (bf’s fave team)!!!

Best game ever!!! We won by A LOT, lol. But that was not the best part of attending the game…the best part by far was the sheer happiness of Madison Square Garden, screaming MVP for Amare 🙂 and chanting Meeee-Looooo.

I’m sorry to get so carried away but I was totally just filled to the brim with happiness. I’ve been to the Garden on so many occasions where the Knicks were getting booed and the place was just filled with dejected die-hard fans frustrated at their team; so to see so many people cheering for the Knicks, those same fans filled with pride for their team and my boy even though he’s a Jazz fan since forever wearing a Knicks tee (THANKS HONEY) I was just so happy 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was originally just posting the Felton Jersey for Miss Jenna from Passionista Place (love her, love the pics on her blog, also she loves basketball (yippeee!) ), but then the bf was sweet and bought the Mr. Happy Knicks tee for me at the team store at the Garden, so I thought well, I should just share all my Knicks fandom.

On the left is a shot of the tee I wore sans sweater. I take a scissor to most tees, I really don’t like the necks on them and they’re always too long on my very short torso. But a little snip snip and it’s no problem.

Tuesday- Summer in Winter

I saw one of my fave summer dresses just hanging sadly in my closet and I wanted to wear it even though the temperature was not summer at all.

Wednesday- Mr. Jay Manual Spotting!!

My dear dear friend gave me this stripey guy for my birthday maybe 2 years ago (?), it’s from a teeny shop called Alphabets on Avenue A and  7th street. Alphabets has a lot of fun things actually, their clothing section is really tiny in the back, way more known for fun gift items and cute things for your home and life.

I know the image is so terrible! I took it with my itouch while my coffee in the other hand getting out of the train, but I really wanted to share b/c I feel like Mr. Jay is radiating a certain something. I mean in a sea of people his straight out the box white is totally beaming and on this gray day it’s fun to see someone not afraid to stand out. WORK IT MR. JAY!!

Saturday-Bestie B’day 🙂

So we celebrated one of my besties’ birthdays. She has the sweetest birthday gathering ever full of family (she’s one of 4 gorgeous sisters) and a super tight knit group of friends. Also I do not know what her family puts in the food but we all overeat, we sing happy birthday to her around 3 cakes (lol), it’s just really wholesome kind of fun.

Hmmm…well this is a little embarrassing, I totally wore this skirt and the sweater on Monday at the Knicks game. Ah well, one of the perks of being a shorty is being able to wear your skirts as dresses (winky).

So rare that I post pics of my face…gawsh also sans makeup and brush…geeze. But I really love the way they hang on a person, so voila my face.

If you’d like to make your own diy tassel “fill in the blank” there are so many wonderful tutorials I’ve read on my reader, but my 2 faves and the easiest to follow for me are from HonestlyWTF and WobiSobi; I actually sewed the tassel opposed to hot gluing like these 2 tutorials instruct just b/c I thought it would be a little sturdier.

Ha! I’m going to another Knicks game tonight with my broski and dad who is visiting from Vienna and is soooo excited to see a game! LET’S GO KNICKS!!
