I saw this site in New York Magazine’s Approval Matrix a couple weeks back and could NOT resist!
Maybe the BEST marketing tool I’ve seen in a long while. The Pedigree Adoption Center in New Zealand created this fantastic site to raise awareness of the thousands of dogs that need a home.
Super simple and fun site, promoting a fantastic cause.
You can either upload a picture or take one, I just took one with my laptop.
Then they do some fancy facial recognition business.
And poof! Your doggelganger!
I was paired with this adorable 2 year old Siberian Husky in Auckland. I totally see it! 😀

this is really neat! I have wanted to adopt a pet for so long but with all the traveling I’ve been doing it wouldn’t be realistic. I might have to try this out anyway!

This is a FANTASTIC thing…. I adopted my dachshund mix from a shelter and he is the love of my life, even though he makes me so maaaaad with his child-like behaviour at times hehehehe. Thanks for sharing this, I’m off to try the tool 😉
