On Sunday’s post I mentioned I wore my “new” shift dress from Goodwill Industries to my date on Saturday with the boy AND The Voice :).
Well, here is my outfit.
I went to a taping of The View (post here) a while back and walked away with a Macy’s gift card that I used to purchase this army green Rachel Roy vest. The sandals are DKNY thrifted from Buffalo Exchange. They might actually be my favorite shoes right now…sooooo comfy and with a little sass and edge.
So the BF and I have a well documented fervor for NBC’s The Voice (see post here). And despite my honey’s fave Dia Frampton not winning the title he was a good sport and bought us tickets to see The Voice Live at the Beacon Theater.
There is not one semi-finalist from The Voice that I do not love! I was so thrilled and excited to see Frenchie Davis, Nakia, Dia Frampton, Xenia, Cassey Wesston, Vicci Martinez, Beverly McClellan and of course the winner of The Voice (swoon) Javier Colon perform.
I had never been to the Beacon Theater, it’s kind of beautiful!
We had a wonderful time! The Voice Live did not disappoint, it was so much fun and everyone had stellar performances.
I don’t have actual pictures from the show because I was waaaay too busy aggressively clapping, giving standing ovations and yelling like a mad woman. But I couldn’t let this post slip by without giving you a fun gif :). I make gifs when I am really really happy.

Those shoes are fabulous. And for a thrifted shoe, they’re in very good shape. I always find most of them to be on the ratty side. The Buffalo Exchange is one of my fave shops!

Nice. I had followed The Voice at first because of Cee Lo, but I really started getting into it. I would have loved to see the contestants live.
