Well, you know that I’m ethically shopping through my wanted list and on that list was a neon dress. I was completely ecstatic to find this wonderfully easy dress by American Apparel at Goodwill on west 8th street during the crafting event I attended a couple of weeks ago.
I think I still may want a short neon number, but as far this neon dress I think it is lovely and clean and bright and will be a maxi that I can wear for a long while.
So some things about my jewelry! I wore my first pair of clip-on earrings! I’ve always found clip-ons a bit heavy but these are nice and light and I love the neutral color and the chevron shape. My mamacita gave them to me :), they were in a mega lot of jewelry she bought on ebay for her crafting.
And there a couple of rings I’d like to introduce you to that I’ve been wearing a lot that you haven’t seen up close and personal.

The above Nissa Dakota Octagon Ring is made of recycled metals in NYC :). I love how tough it looks, I purchased it in antique silver and I find this color softens the hard edge design quite a bit making for a great everyday statement ring. I bought mine via Opensky and it’s still available there.
How cute is Happy Face Ring?!?! I first saw the jewelry of Smiling Silversmith on Girl Does Geek here and promptly sent the link to the bf who gifted the ring to me for Valentine’s Day.
The smiling face makes me super happy when I look down at it and funny most people don’t even notice it’s an adorable smiling face…they think it’s some kind of abstract architectural ring and then POW(!) I show them the cuteness! My happy face ring is handmade by the designer in California of sterling silver.
I love the dress and the rings, especially the Nissa one!
