Words for Your Week: “I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy. I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.”Art Williams found here.
Hello friends! This quote from Art Williams reminds me that everything worth anything is going to involve work…so if I want it I better work for it!
Now please dear readers enjoy some of the reasons I hearted the internet last week.
- Above- These cool raindrops are just one of the super creative hook designs in this roundup.
- How do you say what you do? Do you give yourself enough credit?
- Fashion Week is arriving! Have you seen the ethical fashion happenings for your Fashion Night Out?
- Bigger, bolder, better BOTTOM LASHES…saaaaay what??! This is brilliant!
- You know I’m pro bike helmet, however the criticism that they are not the most comfortable or cute is pretty valid…but what if you could rock an invisible helmet?!?! The future is cool. P.S- This is a real thing invented by 2 ladies in Sweden! They are spendy but you can buy them HERE. Found on exPress-o here.
- 25 places to donate all sorts of things!
- Your smartphone is worth over $1000 in traditional gadgetry. Definitely food for thought.
- Rejection may be good for your creativity! Found via Date Report.
- Lastly below-Do you guys define your eyebrows? I keep my brows on the thicker side so don’t ever touch them but this example makes me want to give it a go.
Those rain drop hooks are super cute! They kind of remind me of something that would come from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Even though it has nothing to do with sweets. Haha. Perhaps it’s just the creativity of it.
My brows are pretty thick and defined, so I mostly just fill in any gaps in the part of the brow closest to my nose to the arch.
And, of course, for every beauty question, there is a Lisa Eldridge video with an answer: http://www.lisaeldridge.com/video/13333/my-brow-routine/
Courtney recently posted..Do We Really Need Tabloids?
Oooo, that is a good video!!! Thanks Courtney! Yeah I have pretty defined brows also b/c I’ve kept the shape my whole life, but I like the idea of defining them a bit.
