Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a restful, sunny and full weekend. Ethical Pick!: This amazing shirt dress by Study NY is literally my dream, a bit pricey for my budget right now ($215), but totally contemplating on getting it anyway…I mean it’s seasonless, classic and easy—sigh, definitely my big fashion crush at the moment.
Now friends, please enjoy some of the recent reasons I hearted the internet.
- A great roundup of Halloween posts including: How to Have an Amazing Halloween Even if you Have No Plans.
- Yay! Exciting details on the new Harry Potter movies!
- Pretty amazing doodling :).
- So awesome! Soon your morning run can power your phone!!! Go future!
- Best cheat sheet on detoxing your closet.
- Oh sweetness…I feel NY is full of people like this.
- So easy peasy–how to look less tired using a little concealer.
- London’s iconic phone booths are going green!
- Definitely want to try some of these cruelty free and vegan mascaras.
- The legendary iconic designer Oscar de La Renta passed away this week. I’m no expert on couture fashion, but I always really loved and respected that 1) Oscar de La Renta was Dominican born American designer–yay immigrants! 2) He always always was inspired by women and spoke about it often. In honor of this man that brought so much beauty in the world here are 25 Oscar quotes on the power of fashion and women: “What women have achieved in the last 50 years, I wish men would have achieved in the last 100.” — Amen!
I can save you the trouble of buying Suncoat mascara. It was in one of my beauty boxes and it went on dry-ish. I didn’t like it at all. Wet n’ Wild’s Megaplump (non waterproof) is vegan and better. Heck e.l.f. is better.
