I also love that you can read a bit about them, because I’m nosy like that :).  “Where do you want to live when you grow up? Disneyland.” For real kid!!! Say YES! to Sustainable Accessories by Refugees in the US

Friends, I rarely post on crowd-funding campaigns, but Moola-Hoop, a crowd-funding site for female entrepreneurs, sent information on the Say YES campaign and I decided to make an exception(!) and said YES! Say YES is a wonderful collaboration between Open Arms a company that provides fair waged jobs to refugees in Austin, Texas and the women owned eco-conscious brand Blue Avocado. This video is what really made ME say yes to Say YES. The story of Odile is unimaginable and… View Post

What I Wore-Summer Rainy Day Outfit

Rainy warm days used to be a little tricky for me. Because my feet get super hot (*blushing*), so wearing boots or galoshes while it’s already hot is not my ideal solution to summer rain. That’s why I’m happy to have my Melissa Shoes! These keep my feet dry, saves me from “wet shoe feeling”, and they don’t make my feet hot like boots. Winning! Good Habits: Start a Routine

(Source Archive.com) So I’ve started to think having a routine would be a very good habit. I read this post on the Good Lifer and it really really inspired me. I love the idea of having a “very considered manner”  to your day. The above routine is from The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin…simple and thoughtful and grounded in two questions: “What good shall I do this day?” and “What good have I done today?” Not a bad way to evaluate… View Post

I liked the article so much I wanted to see her video, which immediately made me want to check out her blog, which led me… View Post

If I Had 5 Minutes at Home…DIYs

Hi friends so this week has been one of the busiest of the summer. I literally have only gone to my apartment to sleep and so I’m pretty spent! I daydream of time at home at this point, and if I had 5 minutes at home I would make one of these sweet and simple DIY’s. 5 Minute DIY for your Desk (source Home Made Simple) I don’t think it could get much easier than gluing some jars together.  But… View Post
